To all the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) beer fans out there in Metro Vancouver this beer is for you! Produced in conjunction with Vancouver Pride Society and R&B Brewing In Vancouver comes the “Vancouver Pride G’Ale”. This beer was released for the Pride Parade in Vancouver for 2012 but will be a year round beer available in 6 pack of bottles and on tap. This beer pours a golden colour with minimal white head that dissipates quickly. The beer has the aroma of grains and malts similar to a lager. The flavor is also similar to a lager really with grains, malts that are slightly sweet with a nice light hopiness. This Ale is so light it seems more like a lager than an Ale but the lines have been blurred. The beer comes in at an alcohol content of 5%. The label for this beer was designed by Brenda Bezell, a design student at LaSalle College as part of a contest put on by the Vancouver Pride Society. This beer may have been created and marketed to the LGBT community but that is no reason that it should not be tried and enjoyed by everyone no matter who you are! I am a friend to the community and a new friend of this beer! My Girlfriend does not drink but even she could appreciate this brew!
