Noble Pilsner – Stanley Park Brewery

From Stanley Park Brewery in Delta (Not sure why its not in Vancouver near the park it is named after) comes the “Noble Pilsner”.  The beer has a very light yellow appearance like a lighter lager with a small white head.  The beer smells of your average pilsner but not the cheap garbage.  The flavor is your average decent american style pilsner with a slight bite as a finish.  This is not that swill “Old Style” or anything it is quite refreshing.  The beer has an alcohol content of 5.1%.  This would be a great patio beer on a hot day.  As a side note this brewery is owned by the Mark Anthony Group which is a big wine producer, maker of  the cheap “hells gate” brand beer and a big liquor distributer.  Most craft brewers would consider it a stretch to call this a craft beer but I digress it is sold as craft beer.
