Naramata Nut – Cannery Brewing

Updated for O’hare’s Beer Club August Box

From Penticton BC comes the “Naramata Nut Brown Ale” from Cannery Brewing.  This beer pours a deep brown that not even light can penetrate with a slightly off white head.  The beer has the strong aroma of nutty malts.  The beers flavor does not veer far from what the smell implies.  The beer tastes strongly of both nuts and malt with some sweetness and slight hopy bitterness to finish it off.  The beer sits at a 5.5% alcohol content.

Food Pairing according to O’hare’s Beer Club notes are as follows:  Perfect beer for a BBQ – Burgers, steak and roast duck too!
