Lord of the Hops India Pale Ale – Parallel 49 Brewing

Limited Release

Coming out of East Vancouver’s Parallel 49 Brewing comes the brand new “Lord of the Hops India Pale Ale”.  This wonderful IPA pours a copper colour with an off white head.  The aroma is comprised of pine, grapefruit, citrus and floral hops.  The flavour consists of mild pine, malts, grapefruit, citrus and pretty good hops bitterness.  The alcohol content of the beer is 7.2% with and IBU of 70.  I really like this IPA and I was glad to be the first customer to pick it up at the tasting room!

Commercial Description:  You don’t need to be a wizard to recognize a magic brew.  This India Pale Ale is flavourful, medium-bodied with citric characteristics.  Five Varietals of hops, but only one keeper of the beer.

  2. Bill says:

Definitely good, although MIrror Pond remains my favourite hoppy brew.
