O’hare’s Beer Club April 2013 Box
From Portland Oregon USA’s Alameda Brewing comes the “Rose City Red” a red ale. This Red Ale pours a very dark red tinted colour with a tan head. The aroma is of floral hops, pine, toasted malts and a hint of citrus. The flavour consists of toasted malts, hops bitterness, pine, mild citrus and has a dry finish. The alcohol content of the brew is 6.4% and it has an IBU of 60. This is a very well crafted red ale and a treat to drink.
Commercial Description: A Pacific NW style red ale brewed with the highest quality Crystal malts and copious amounts of Nugget hops. The Rose City Red will win you over with its red tinted color, amazing aroma, and complex flavor. A perfect brew for contemplating the return of the roses.
