O’hare’s Beer Club June 2013 Box
From Cannery Brewing out of Penticton BC comes the “Wildfire I.P.A” which is fittingly a Black IPA or Cascadian Dark Ale. This Dark India Pale Ale pours a deep black with a brown head. The aroma consists of roasted malts, resin, pine, hops bitterness and a sweet finish. The flavour is of roasted malts, hops bitterness, a hint of chocolate, pine, resin and some mild citrus hidden there somewhere. The alcohol content of the brew comes it at 6% while the IBU comes in at a huge 88. This is a very well crafted CDA and is brewed for a great cause.
