From Parallel 49 Brewing in East Vancouver BC and Ninkasi Brewing from Eugene Oregon comes their Collaboration Lager called “Red Eye (Red Rye Lager)” brewed at Parallel 49 in Vancouver. The beer pours a copper colour with a tan head. The aroma consists of malts, rye, floral hops and some pine. The flavour is of malts, rye, hops bitterness, pine, citrus and a mild sweetness. This Lager has characteristics of Ryle Ales and Mild IPA’s but is a Lager. The alcohol content comes in at 6.4% and the IBU is 41. This is a very well crafted Lager and well worth the try for all beer snobs.
