O’hare’s Beer Club August 2013 Box
From Blenheim, New Zealand’s Moa Brewing Company comes their “Blanc Evolution” a Belgian style Witbier. The beer pours a hazy golden colour with a white head. The aroma is of Belgian yeast, citrus rind, citrus, wheat and floral hops. The flavour consists of wheat, citrus, citrus rind, yeast and hops bitterness. The alcohol content of this Witbier is 6.2% wile the IBU comes in at 38. This is a nice Witbier that is very full flavoured.
Commercial Description: Moa Blanc Evolution is a Belgian style Witbier, with a small amount of coriander added during its extended maturation period giving it a unique spiciness. Rich and mouth-filling, it really is a true wheat lover’s beer.
