From Saint Albert Alberta’s Hog’s Head Brewing comes their “Hop Slayer IPA”. The beer pours a deep copper colour with a huge explosive head of off white colour. This batch seems to have been way over carbonated. The aroma consisted of malts and floral hops. The flavour was of sweet caramel, malts, resin, pine and hops bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 7.5% with an IBU of 105. Other than the over carbonation this is an great IPA.
Commercial Description: With 105 IBU and a reddish brown color with a slight haze and a frothy off-white head.
