The 12th Can Pale Ale – Hilliards Beer

O’hare’s Beer Club December 2013 Box

From Seattle Washington’s Hilliards Beer comes their “The 12th Can Pale Ale” a beer brewed in honor of the Seattle Seahawks NFL team’s 12th Man (the fans).  The pale ale pours a medium golden colour with a white head.  The aroma consists of big citrus notes, malts and grassy hops.  The flavour is of malts, citrus and grassy hops.  The alcohol content comes in at 4.5% with an IBU of 32.  This is a great pale ale with lots of flavour and is a great to drink while watching a Seahawks game!

Commercial Description:  A perfect game-day craft beer can’t be dumbed down in taste or ingredients, but it shouldn’t be so over the top you need to switch to something lighter after only one. So we brewed it with Cascade Hops (C Hops!) along with Maris Otter and Crystal Malts to produce a beer unmistakably NW in flavor and super drinkable from beginning to end. Also, since you need to have enough to share, we’ve released them as a 12-Pack of tallboys.

Food Pairing according to O’hare’s Beer Club notes are as follows:  Seahawk Victory
