Brewers’ Reception (Fest-Of-Ale) 2014 – Penticton

After the first day of the Okanagan Fest-Of-Ale on April 4th, 2014 Cannery Brewing held a Brewers’ Reception.  The Brewers’ Reception was open to people in the Brewing industry, friends and family and a few lucky beer writers.  Sadly if you were not given a ticket you were not able to attend.

The ticket as shown above was a Keg Topper and a really cool touch.  Cannery Brewing was pouring a few of their ales as well as a cask brought up from Townsite Brewing from Powell River.  There was some amazing food like Maple Stout Braised Beef Brisket, Naramata Nut BBQ Ribs, vegtables and cheese and crackers.  They had a live DJ playing music as well as some live performances such as Sid the Brewmaster for Firehall Brewery and his dad.

This was an amazing party and everyone had a really good time!  I had to be careful on my alcohol intake though as I was to be judging the beers of the Fest-Of-Ale first thing in the morning.  Here are my photos.

Here are the Photos from Kim of DogLeg Marketing who does the Marketing for Cannery Brewing.

I wish I could have partaken in the party a little more but it was an amazing event and I thank Cannery Brewing and Kim for inviting me.
