From Brooklyn Center Minnesota’s Surly Brewing Co comes their “Furious Beer” an American IPA. This beer pours from a tall can a copper colour with an off white colour and lots of lacing. The aroma consists of big floral hops, lemon, citrus and sweet malts. The flavour is of hops bitterness up front with pine, resin, malts, lemon, citrus and a very mild sweet finish. The alcohol content comes in at 6.2% wtih an IBU of 99. This is a well crafted big hops IPA and well worth the trouble getting it to my fridge in BC.
