West Coast IPA – Old Yale Brewing

From Old Yale Brewing out of Chilliwack BC comes there new “West Coast IPA”.  This beer pours a copper colour with a white head.  The aroma consists of floral hops, citrus, caramel, malts and a sweet finish.  The flavour is of caramel malts, grassy hops, bitterness, pine, citrus and an overall fruity finish.  The alcohol content comes in at 6% with an IBU of 55.  This is a really tasty West Coast IPA with a great balance of malts and hops.

Commercial Description:  he West Coast IPA boasts huge hop flavour, but also a balanced drinkability. We pack over 50lbs 
of the much sought after Citra and Galaxy hops into this IPA. We suggest pairing the intense hops with your favorite spicy dish.

Food Pairing as per brewery:  Coconut curry w/ rice & chicken, Mushroom meatloaf, Grilled tiger prawns, Arugula salad, Samosas and Strong cheeses
