From Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks brewing out of Big River Brewpub in Richmond BC comes their “Super 8-Bit IPA 2014”. This years batch has been brewed with a bunch of Australian hops as well as a mix of other hops. The hops included are citra, amarillo, zeus, simcoe, dr. rudi, topaz, ella and green bullet. The beer pours a cloudy copper colour with a tan head. The aroma consists of floral hops, fruity, citrus, lemon and caramel. The flavour is of big caramel, pine, resin, hops bitterness, citrus and tropical fruits. The alcohol content comes in at 7.3% with an IBU of 69. This is an awesome IPA and well worth hunting down in Metro Vancouver on tap.

Yeah I saw that. I reposted a bit of stuff for Scott. It should be fun.
It was good, decent casks which are always nice and all proceeds went to the Surrey Memorial Foundation. I even donated some beery stuff, including a couple Juxtapose! Really enjoyed the 8-bit, hope to see F&W open a brewery, bottle and expand in the near future!

Terry Fuggles & Warlock Do have their own brewery. It’s the Richmond location of Big River Brewpub. The name change is coming. Expansion of the brewery coming and bottling line coming.
