Friendly Fire ISA – Bridge Brewing Company

From Bridge Brewing out of North Vancouver comes their new “Friendly Fire ISA” an India Session Ale.  The beer pours a golden orange colour with an off white head.  The aroma consists of malts, citrus and floral hops.  The flavour is of pine, resin, hops bitterness with mild citrus and caramel malts.  The alcohol content comes in at 4.2% with an IBU of 48.  I was amazed at just how much bitterness came out in this beer with such a low ABV.  I really enjoyed this ISA as it had a ton of flavour as a session beer!

Commercial Description:  This sessionable beer is caught in the crossfire between European malts and North American hops.  Ample malt flavour followed by multiple ‘C’ hop offensives create a satisfying and refreshing assault by the friendliest of flavours.
