From Regina Saskachewan’s Rebellion Brewing comes their “Double IPA” a beer I was able to acquire in trade in a 1L growler. The beer pours a deeper copper colour with an off white head. The aroma consists of earthy, malty floral notes with some minor citrus. The flavour is of malts, resin, pine, earth and a mild citrus finish. The alcohol content comes in at 8.5%. This is a good Double IPA but I would have like more of the citrus to shine though. I like some sweetness to my big IPA’s that was lacking a little bit.
