From Maple Meadows Brewing Company in Maple Ridge comes their “IPA”. This India Pale Ale pours a copper colour with a tan head. The aroma consist of sweet malts and floral hops (probably more but my nose is still failing me). The flavour is of caramel malts and maybe a hint of toffee with earthy notes, mild fruit notes and some hops bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 6.3% with an IBU of 63. This IPA hits the mark for an English IPA with a much bitter malt backbone then hops presence. For a new region to the Craft Beer Revolution this was probably a great direction to go with the IPA.
