From the Village of Valemount’s Three Ranges Brewing comes their “Tail Slap IPA”. The beer pours a golden colour with a off white head. The aroma consists of caramel malts, citrus and floral hops. The flavour is of caramel malts, citrus, grapefruit, hint of tropical fruits and hops bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 6.5%. This is a very refreshing IPA and I am sad that when my 6 pack is done I will have to go back to Valemount to get more.
Commercial Description: Citrus, Hoppy, Hoppy, Hoppy. The beaver opened up Canada to the world and took it on the chin as trappers and traders almost drove the species to extinction. But the beaver didn’t get mad. It got angry. Our Tail Slap India pale Ale is the liquid embodiment of that quintessential fighting spirit. With a Schwak-load of bittering hops, a solid malt backbone, and tart citrus aroma it is perfectly suited for the disenfranchised.
