From White Rock Beach Beer Company in White Rock comes their “East Beach Nut” an American Brown Ale.  The beer pours a deep brown colour with a brown head.  The aroma consists of chocolate, nuts, roasted malts and a sweet finish.  The flavour is of chocolate, nuts, roasted malts, earth and a hint of fruit in the finish.  The beer comes in at 4.9% alcohol and has an IBU of 32.  This is a well crafted Brown Ale and while it may not blow you away it will be a great beer to share a growler with a friend or two for sure.  Sometimes a nice approachable beer is the best way to go.

Commercial Description:  Originally a British Ale, this version uses Canadian grain and hops.  Dark nut brown in color but clear all the way through. Mild and not overly hopped. Caramel and some chocolate undertones.
