From Off The Rail Brewing in Vancouver comes their “Into the Black Stout” an Oatmeal Stout.  The beer pours an opaque black colour with a brown head.  The aroma consists of roasted malts, toasted oats, coffee, earth and some bitterness.  The flavour is of toasted oats, roasted malts, coffee, earth, hint of chocolate and bitterness.  The alcohol content comes in at 4.8% with an IBU of 36.  The Oatmeal Stout is a really nice refreshing style of beer and this one hit the spot tonight.
