Blonde Ale – Old Abbey Ales

From Old Abbey Ales in Abbotsford comes their “Blonde Ale” part of their Tavern Series.  The beer pours a golden blonde colour with a white head.  The aroma consists of citrus, grains, grassy hops and some sweetness.  The flavour is of citrusy lemon, grain, grassy hops and a sweet finish.  The alcohol content comes in at 5% with an IBU of 12.  This beer is not a complex one but would be a great patio sipper as the weather warms up.

Commercial Description:  Bread flavours combine with a subdued noble hop character.  A neutral ale yeast was used to let these flavours shine.  This all combines to create a very balanced session ale.  We know you will love it as much as we do.
