From Machine Ales formerly a part of the cooperative brewery Callister Brewing comes their “Hype Machine Imperial IPA”. The beer pours a super cloudy orange with a white head. The aroma consists of floral hops, melons, tropical fruit, resin and lots of dank hops. The flavour is of resin, pine, citrus, tropical fruit, melon, earth, bitterness, yeast and a huge dank finish. The alcohol content comes in at 8.2%. I hope this does not turn out to be the last every Machine Ales beer as this was one to write home about for sure!
Is this the same as the Hype Machine Double IPA? That is a winner indeed. We tried to get a growler from Callister last Thursday but they were only selling it by the glass as it was so close to gone. Machine Ales will be sorely missed, and we’ll be looking out for more collabos like the Hot Trub as you said in your review.
It is the same. When I looked the name up again it said Imperial IPA. I think they only did growler fills the one day.
