From Hearthstone Brewery in North Vancouver comes their “Wyld Raspberry Berliner Weisse”.  The beer pours a reddish pink colour with a small white head.  The aroma consists of almost raspberry cool-aid and sweetness.  The flavour is of mild tartness, raspberry, wheat, mild earth and maybe some orange rind.  The alcohol content comes in at 3.2% with an IBU of 00.  While I do not find this one as exciting as the Peach and Lychee Berliner Weisse it is still quite tasty. 

Commercial Description:  We give you our take on a traditional old world classic – the Berliner Weisse.  Using 100% wild lactobacillus bacteria, and real, whole lychees.  This brew is tart, light and refreshing.  We hope you agree!  Cheers to summer sours!
