From Goose Island Beer Company out of Chicago Illinois comes their “Goose Rambler IPA” a Red IPA.  The beer pours a deep reddish colour with a tan head.  The aroma consists of caramel, toffee, citrus and pine.  The flavour is of caramel, toffee, pine, citrus, grassy hops and some bitterness.  The alcohol content comes in at 6.7% with an IBU of 65.  The hops bitterness is not as high as many IPA’s and it is also a bit sweeter but it is quite refreshing regardless.
