Dageraad Brewing in Burnaby has been running a small tasting room for quite some time.  When they opened up in and around June 2014 they didn’t even have a tasting room as is noticeable in my original post on the brewery.  Things are now in the process of changing though.  The brewery has taken over the space next door and it is quite a bit bigger.  They have expanded their warm storage for bottle conditioning their beer as well as added a much larger cold storage.  The best part of this expansion though is the new much larger tasting room.

Beside the breweries old Warm storage room they have cut a hole in the wall into the new space.  The first photo give you a look through that new hole.  In the second photo you see the insulated roll up door that hides the new huge warm storage room seen in the third photo.  They will be able to bottle condition far more beer now than they ever could before.  Photos 4 and 5 are of the new cold room.  It is even larger than the warm room.  Photo six is of the wall that will house the future bar of the new taproom.  The seventh and eighth photo show the mezzanine where there will be bar seating above and the framing of the area below that second level seating.  The last photo is again of the future bar area.  The construction is well under way and I am very excited for the new room.  There will also be more fermentation tanks in the brewery when they remove the old warm storage room.
