On November 28th, 2015 Beerthirst held multiple Launch parties for their newest beer to hit Vancouver the KCCO Gold Lager from Resignation Brewery. If you didn’t figure out what KCCO stood for then I will help you out it stands for Keep Calm and Cary On the slogan everyone knows from the Chive. The parties were all held at the same time in Vancouver, Whistler, Kelowna and Victoria. I was able to attend the event at The Roxy on the Granville Strip in Vancouver.
All 4 launch parties were also fundraisers for the British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Find me a good cause and I will support it as best I can and this is one of those events! All money from the ticket sales, merchandise sales and raffle draw went towards the Burn Fund. The event went from 7pm until 10pm when the Roxy opened to the public (everyone was welcome to stay when the event ended) and included two sets from the house band. The party was a great success with everyone having lots of fun and some pretty good money being raised for charity. The final tally at the end of the night was $7205 which will help out at the burn fund.
