From Chilliwack’s Old Yale Brewing comes their “Juicy Tropical Hopped Sour”. The beer pours an orange colour with a white head. The aroma consists of tropical fruits, semi sweet notes and tartness. The flavour is of tropical fruit, tartness, grain and some sweetness. The alcohol content comes in at 5.5%. This would be an amazing brew for a summer patio. Lets hope this one sticks around.

Weekend Warriors Double IPA – Old Yale Brewing
From Chilliwack’s Old Yale Brewing comes their “Weekend Warriors Double IPA” a taproom exclusive. The pours a very cloudy orange with an off white head. The aroma consists of tropical, citrus, juicy hops, sweetness and floral hops. The flavour is of tropical fruit, citrus, grapefruit, grapefruit rind, bitterness and resin. The beer comes in with a New England IPA aroma and a Pacific North West IPA. You are doing yourself right to try this beer. Make your way out to Chilliwack soon before it is gone.
Himalayan Salted Caramel Porter – Old Yale Brewing
From Chilliwack’s Old Yale Brewing comes their “Himalayan Salted Caramel Porter”. The beer pours a deep brown colour with a brown head. The aroma consists of roasted malts, caramel, coffee, lactose and vanilla. The flavour is of roasted malts, bitter coffee, caramel, toffee, vanilla, lactose, salt and some ash and bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at a cool 6%. This beer sounds like it would be really sweet but it is only lightly sweet and really tasty on a cold day.

From Chilliwack’s Old Yale Brewing comes their “Stone Fruit Hibiscus Saison”. The beer pours a cloudy orange colour with an off white head. The aroma consists of stone fruits like peach, overall fruity esters, hibiscus and some sweetness. The flavour is of stone fruit, hibiscus, citrus rind, yeast, mild spices, low bitterness and wheat. The alcohol content comes in at 6%. This is not your typical saison but it is really well crafted and full of flavour.
Off Trail Pale Ale – Old Yale Brewing
From Chilliwack’s Old Yale Brewing comes their “Off Trail Pale Ale. The beer pours a copper colour with a tan head. The aroma consists of caramel, grain, citrus with floral and herbal hops. The flavour is of grain, caramel, citrus, mild earth, spicy and herbal hops and some bitterness. The alcohol content comes in at 5% with an IBU of 35. This is a well executed standard pale ale and should do the trick for a good 6 pack in the fridge beer.
Commercial Description: A generous heaping of whole leaf cascade hops are carefully balanced with malted barley and combined to deliver our refreshing Off Trail Pale Ale. We suggest pairing with a juicy burger or your favorite pizza.
