From Big Ridge Brewing in Surrey comes the “Slovenian Amber Lager”. The beer pours an amber colour with a creamy white head. The aroma consists of malty, sweetness, citrus and floral hops. This is a pretty complex lager with lots of malts, some citrus notes and a tone of hops bitterness. This is a very good Lager and not at all what I expected. The alcohol content is 5.5% and the IBU is roughly around 28.
Description from Teriq Khan the Brewmaster: “Slight bitter attack with a spicy, herbal hop finish and caramel malt backbone. Hop forward beer brewed in the tradition of Vienna, Munich, and Pilsener Lagers” via Twitter.
