A Frame Brewing (Pre Construction) – Squamish

Squamish has anouther brewery in the works! A Frame Brewing is hoping to open either late spring or early summer.

Demolition is just starting in the tasting room side / cold room side of the space and there is still some design work that needs to be done on the brewery side but things are now under way. The first photo shows the outside of the tasting room and a view of the mountains. Where the two trucks are parked will be an outside patio area. The second photo is of the tasting room under full demolition.

The brewery side does not have any of the equipment yet but in the first photo there will be 4-30HL fermentors lined up against the wall to start. In the second photo where the test batch system is located you will find the brew house that comes in at 15HL. The brew house is a little different than many with the mashtun, kettle and whirlpool are all one unit. The brewery will launch with 4 core beers including a cream ale, commons, Baltic porter and a Belgian ale. They will be making seasonals also. The test batch system is part of the story of the naming of the brewery also. The owner Jeff’s father built the frame for the test batch system. He also built the A-Frame cabin that the brewery is named after!
