Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks (Under Construction) – Richmond

Everyone in the beer scene in BC knows of Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks unless they live under a rock.  They have grown from a home brewing  duo to guest brewers to contract brewers and now they have started building their own large brewery!  Located in Richmond just off of Stevenson Highway this is going to be one of the hottest breweries in the next 12 months.  They expect to be brewing in the next two weeks so the beer is coming soon!

The brewery was still being installed when I stopped by the brewery on October 15th.  From my talks with the guys at the brewery though things are coming together really fast.  Located at the back of the brewery in large boxes were both their bottling and canning lines.

Once all of the public consultation is complete the plan is to have a full lounge with a large number of taps including one off batches of beer that Fuggles & Warlock Craftworks are well known for.  They hope to have video games to enjoy in the tap room as well as some pretty nerdy decor as you can see from the photo below.  The demolition and construction have not begun yet as the push is getting beer out of the facility as soon as possible.  So don’t rush out to the brewery quite yet but look forward to their beer making it to shelves very soon!

If you need a reason to get excited about the brewery check out a video they made a while back.

  1. tried a sample of their strawberry Wit and enjoyed it, even though I don’t usually care for flavored beers. Waiting for a pil or lager session beer from them.

    • They are releasing a pilsner in cans when they get the brewery running. Glad they will fill that need for you. I have my doubts personally that I will be checking it out as it is not a style I go out of my way to try. Different styles for everyone!

  2. […] a look at my original Construction Update […]
